Why don't friends packages include makeup by default?+
From Gạo Nâu's surveys — most friend groups do their own makeup at home, or 1-2 people don't need any. Separating makeup from the core package lets you only pay for those who actually need it. Makeup add-on: $24/person. Your advisor sends the total once you confirm the count.
Can a group of 5-6 shoot?+
Yes. Additional person: $39/person beyond 4. Example: 6 people on Reunion = $196 + $78 = $274. Larger groups (7+) can discuss moving to the family group package if it suits the budget better.
Soulmates and Forever are both $231 — how do they differ?+
Soulmates is a friends-group portrait package with a modern concept — Gạo Nâu prepares 1 concept-matched outfit layout. Forever is a dedicated áo dài group package — Gạo Nâu prepares matching áo dài. The difference is concept and wardrobe — not the number of photos or shoot time.
Can we shoot at a private birthday party?+
Possible to discuss. By default, the shoot happens at Gạo Nâu studio (Hanoi or HCMC). For restaurants, cafes, or private spaces, the outdoor surcharge depends on location and travel distance. Your advisor quotes the total once you confirm the specific place.
How does the keep-it-real workflow apply to friends packages?+
Fully applied. Gạo Nâu's retoucher preserves the natural features of each person in the group — NO whitening more than 2 tones, NO waist slimming, NO leg stretching. Final check: each person still recognizes themselves and their friends in the photo.
Can we split photos among each member?+
Yes. All raw files + 15 retouched photos are delivered to the booking representative — they then split among group members. Gạo Nâu does not limit copies or sharing within the group.
How much is the deposit, and what's the cancellation lead time?+
Pay 30-50% deposit of the package total when confirming the date. Give at least 3 days' notice for a rescheduling request — Gạo Nâu supports up to 2 free reschedules. The studio does not refund deposits if the cancellation is not the studio's fault, but you can transfer the deposit to another friend group — contact your advisor.
